“This is the second time that we have stayed at this location… We love it! It is centrally located. We had easy access to northern New Mexico with a 20 minute drive into the heart of Santa Fe. In the evening, we came “home” to a relaxing hot tub and heated pool. Cary was amazing to work with. She is a great host. We are going back in October and plan to make it a place where we will stay any time we are in northern New Mexico.”
from Roberta
“Casita Royale is quiet, calm and comforting. Truly spacious for 6 people. Wonderful hidden gem that has historic and natural beauty. Off the beaten path around 15 mins north of Santa Fe, this idyllic home is great for families and friends. Pets are welcome too. A fully functioning oven, stove, and washing machine with many thoughtful touches ( snack basket, plenty blankets and towels) are a part of this home away from home.”
from Muneerah, about the Casita Royale
“Old New Mexico funky with thoughtful conveniences! Love the character of these old adobe structures. And the host provides conveniences we were surprised to find. Great communications.”
from John, about the Casita Grande
“This was the most amazing stay....we found ourselves reluctant to leave the ranch each day and head into town because the house was so comfortable to hang out in. There are so many personal touches throughout...the decor was well thought out and unique to the area. We don’t have a single suggestion for improvement...Cary far exceeded the AirBnB expectation for us. We were both so sorry to have to point the car east yesterday...I’m pretty sure we’ll be back soon!”
from Angella, about the Casita Royale
“Cary's place is filled with history, and surrounded by incredible scenery. It's magical when you step outside and see all the stars at night. The hacienda is a great location to explore Bandelier and Jamez Springs and Pueblo, Ojo Caliente and Ghost Ranch. It's a perfect place to tell stories around the fire!”
from Robin, about the Family Casita
“Perfect little spot for 1-2 people traveling, huge bonus that it is pet friendly!! The property is beautiful! I enjoyed walking the dog around in the mornings and evenings. Location was perfect for what I was there to do, short 40 minute drive to Ojo springs and then 20 to Santa Fe town. Quite, tranquil, and beautiful :)”
from Sesa, about the Original Casita
“Great getaway. This property is quite spread out and spacious. All of the sleeping areas are very private from one another. The decorating and structure itself has tons of character. Everything was super clean as well. The unit pretty much has everything you need. Cary was very responsive to all of my questions. You won’t be disappointed!”
from Tina, about the Casita Royale
“A traditional Pueblo style home, layout and decor made me feel like I was really experiencing the beauty of New Mexico with Fire place and gorgeous patio to take in the air and sky... loved my stay!”
from Erin, about the Family Casita
“Just spent one night at Cary's place while passing through New Mexico but it was a perfect stay after a long couple days of driving. Wonderfully secluded while also an easy drive into Santa Fe, charming adobe casitas, and the property is incredible, with a very nice pool and hot tub, picnic area, fire pit, and more. Would 100% stay again (and for longer next time)!”
from Jeremy
“This is an amazing find! The property is secluded and the best view of the stars. The place is very clean and safe. The bed was so comfortable, I am buying the same for my home. Also, loved the different types of pillows. My fav was the feather pillow. The space has a fire place but have its own mini split unit, so heating and cooling is a breeze. I loved the tray of snacks too. Shower had plenty of hot water. Got to give them points for the doggy casita ( a huge fenced yard)! I will stay again.”
from Michelle, about the Courtyard Casita
“The Casita is a very homey little adobe house that is tastefully decorated and also has thoughtful amenities for guests. The waters in the fridge are especially welcome. Cary is a great host and very communicative. She was not in Santa Fe when I stayed, but she was very responsive and her local helpers are able to assist you with anything you might have a question about. They were very nice and added to my good experience. Also, staying in Pojoaque is nicer than being in Santa Fe, IMO. You are a bit in the country and away from the throngs.”
from Joshua, about the Original Casita
“Our company of 4 (my husband, daughter, and I from the Netherlands) were very charmed by the place. The Adobe style, the history, the colors, the sunset over the mountains. It was just an amazing experience. Comfortable amenities. Good price / value rate. I would recommend it to anybody looking for a Santa Fe vibe!”
from Sean, about the Casita Royale
“This Casita is pure New Mexico. Very quiet, but not far from Espanola, Los Alamos and/or Santa Fe. The courtyard is a perfect place to relax, enjoy a cold beverage, watch the sun set and the sky turn into stars. Highly recommend it! I'd stay there again.!”
from Doug, about the Courtyard Casita
“This was my second visit. This time I stayed for 3 nights and hung out most of the time at the property. This is an amazing place and very peaceful. The bed is the best along with the choice of pillows. Super clean. Love the doggie casita (large fenced dog yard) for my pup.”
from Michelle, about the Casita Grande
“We really loved the cozy casita! It is very typical and pretty, in a quiet location but close to the center of Santa Fe. A swimming pool and a hot tube are available too. Cary and her husband were very kind and helpful, they helped us with the car rental (we had some troubles and we had to change the car), spending with us all time needed to solve the problem. One of the best Airbnb we have been.”
from Pierluigi
“This is a great location for the casinos, Santa Fe Opera, Espanola, Santa Fe, Taos.... the casita was spacious with a separate kitchen, walk in closet, and bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped including spices, coffee, drinking water and some snacks. Check in was easy because of the excellent directions provided by Cary. The bed was comfortable. There was air conditioning as well as a fan. We had a very enjoyable stay and look forward to returning next year.”
from Cheryl, about the Original Royale
“Llama Ranch was such a wonderful experience for our family. The Pueblo is in a great location away from the crowds but within easy access to Santa Fe, Bandelier, and more. The space has outstanding character and feels so comfortable and cozy. The king bed is great and our kids slept well on the air mattress. The sunny spacious bathroom was a great place to get ready or unwind with a hot shower. The kitchen allowed us to stay in when we felt like it. And every night we made a sweet little fire in the corner fireplace. The grounds are spacious enough to never even notice other guests. Plenty of room to walk or stretch or read outside. This would be a great place for groups who desire separate accommodations as there are multiple units available.”
from Lydia, about the Family Casita
“Amazinggg!! If you want a place with security and lots of history, this is the place to be. Cary was so kind and accommodating. You won’t find a better place for the price. I’ve never been more blown away by the historic pieces of a place.”
from Charnelle, about the Casita Grande
“Our stay at Llama Ranch was incredibly relaxing. We were looking for a rural destination to spend a quiet weekend, a drive out to Sanctuario de Chimayo, and to see some fall foliage. Your charming hacienda is all we had hoped and more. Thank you for the thoughtful touches like cold bottles of water, juice, and snacks. It was so nice to find a pet-friendly space that was so beautifully decorated. We will visit again as soon as we can arrange another free weekend!”
from Sharon, about the Family Casita
“What a home with such historic and beautiful characteristics. We loved the thick adobe walls that kept the space cool and held. The furniture and art were so unique , with old style doors and doorways, and outdoor paintings on the walls. There was coffee and amenities, and the beautiful king size bed was so comfortable. There was also outdoor seating areas and a fire pit to enjoy. We would definitely return here. Grateful to have experienced this special piece of New Mexico here.”
